Brekka is a family run accommodation in Aðaldalur. - It
is beautifully and very centrally located for those who want to explore
the North Iceland Pearls of Nature, enjoy peaceful surroundings, hike,
angling, and other recreation, such as whale watching, riding, swimming
at community center Heiðarbær, interesting sightseeing etc.
- Lake Mývatn's discharge, River Laxá is at the
doorstep, and another salmon river, Myrarkvisl, is nearby. So are
several angling lakes, such as Langavatn and Vestmannsvatn. Folk
Museum Grenjaðarstaður and the waterfall Goðafoss are also
close by. - All this makes Guesthouse Brekka an excellent
spot to enjoy its natural and historic surroundings for a few days.
